New Play Equipment for Rumburgh Pleasure Ground

As you may already know Rumburgh Parish Council has ambitions to replace the play equipment and goal posts at the Pleasure Ground.

Good quality replacements won't come cheap, but we firmly believe local children deserve a safe place to play in the heart of the village.

Fortunately there are Charitable Trusts that we hope we can persuade to support our cause.

This is where we need your help.

Funders want to know what you think, not simply what we tell them.  You would be helping our community if you could take five minutes to complete our questionnaire.  If enough people respond, there is a good chance we can raise the money.

We have tried to make this work for everyone

If you live in Rumburgh we will drop a questionnaire in your letter box - simply fill it in and drop it back to the address on the form or pass it to one of the Parish Councillors

OR

Click this link to be taken straight through to an online version of the questionnaire. LINK to Questionnaire

OR

Pop over to our Website https://rumburgh-pc.gov.uk/ and complete the questionnaire on our Home Page

Thank you for your support.

Help Keep an Older Person Safer in 2026

Did you know? While cold calling itself is allowed, traders must respect "No Cold Callers" notices - it's actually against the law if they don't! As a dedicated home care provider since 1980, we've made it our mission to help protect older and disabled people in our community. We're proud to have distributed over 250,000 of these protective stickers since 2019.

Do you know of someone who would like to receive one of these? If so, simply reply to this email or call us on 01603 764567. Rest assured, we keep privacy in mind - we don't store any personal information or share it with others. If you have a Newsletter, Magazine or FB page and would like to mention this offer, we are happy for you to do so.

With warm wishes from Able Community Care your live-in care specialists, based in Norfolk, but supporting families across the UK since 1980.

March 2025

Three Saints Parish Council would like to thank everyone who took part in our Litter Pick last weekend. A total of 15 bags of rubbish were collected, with more disposed of directly into volunteers’ own bins.

Our vigilant dog walkers continue to be everyday heroes, helping to keep 'The Saints' tidy. Unfortunately, some dog owners are still leaving poo bags and fouling throughout the parish – please be aware that we are monitoring this.

Our thanks also go to East Suffolk Services for collecting the bags.

'Doubly Thankful' villages in St. Michael South Elmham

The "Doubly Thankful" clip, now available on ITVX (Monday 4th November 5:39 pm), tells the remarkable story of St. Michael South Elmham, a village where all soldiers returned safely from both World Wars. This unique and uplifting story reflects the community’s deep gratitude and resilience. Watch the clip here on ITVX.

TSPC has had the oak benches in All Saints, St. Nicholas, St. Michael, and St. Peter's refurbished. We hope you enjoy them!
